tongue swelling

morning everyone i wondered if anyone on here ever had prob with tongue swelling last time 2yrs ago it happened i went to pharmacist and he said nothing i could do if it didnt go down in 4 hours go to a and e but it went down happened again last night its gone down now just bit worried thank you xxx

Suggest talk to your GP and consultant. Has happened to me but I was on a cocktail of drugs, far more than I've ever been on since, and had to have emergency treatment.

It's why I started looking into complementary therapies. It was a very scary experience!

thanks for answering matilda yes very scary its all settled down now i am not taking rhumy medication at moment stopped two months ago due to eye probs had a infusion recently did in the end go onto google and looked it up that was one of the side effects of the drug so no more that was once a year what did the emergency do for you xx

hope u doing ok now side effects are a nightmare i also looked up new blood pressure pill that also causing same side effect will see what happens tonight i am only on new pill as a trial any probs will get doc to give me home phone call thanks for help matilda xx

wonder what causes it i put a load of bonjella on my tongue as it feels so sore didnt help at least no swelling will look into it xx

It's scary as you think it will swell more and cut your air way off.God I am dramatic !
