PIP Review Form

PIP renewal is coming up next year. Just had a review form in post to ask about any changes.

My RA has not really got much worse but have been diagnosed with Degenerate Arthritis in back, have so much much pain from that

Any advise on filling this form out.

Did you photocopy your last set of forms , if you are the same just put that and add your back problem with any copies of letters from doctors confirming the problem.

You could re read the nras booklet to make sure you are still getting the same points across as your previous application plus the new ones.

Have a look on the Benefits and Work website, its not the diagnosis but how it affects your daily living. Send all relevant recent hospital correspondence and keep appointment letters etc. The onus is on you to give them a complete picture of the difficulties you have with daily living, they wont be checking with any of your doctors.

Hi, I hate these forms they are so stressful. Last time I took mine to the local Welfare Rights Dept they were really helpful and took a lot of the stress out of the process. Also nras do a booklet on applying for pip I think.

In case you haven't found it - the link to the NRAS PIP booklet is here - nras.org.uk/publications/ho... which you can download or request by post. The NRAS Helpline does have a lot of experience of speaking to people going through the process but your local CAB office can also assist.
