Rheumoltology this morning..............

Good morning, yesterday i had a phone call fromthe rheumo nurse stating that there was a slot come vacant this morning at 9.30am and would i like it. SO i grabbed it. Last night my hands were very sore and tingly and now they are just sore and cold as i have spent another noght down here again due to lack of sleep. My back is also playing up at the moment,probally due tp the way i was sleeping in my recliner. I have dug my thick onsie out for sitting down here during the night when i can't sleep.xxxxx

Its the fibro giving me a good kicking. He has given me two weeks of steroids then i have to go back to see the nurse and then i think i am being put on hydrocox(something or other).xxxx

Have you tried a little electric hot pad to cuddle to keep your fingers warm when you can't sleep? I couldn't exist in the winter without mine.

Also,got a pair of heated gloves on Amazon...only £6.......drawback is you have to,stay plugged in to a USB connection.....but with a long extension lead it is possible!! But they did take about three weeks to arrive from China!

Been down the hospital this morning to see my consultant who told me i was in a fibro flare and god do i know it. my hands are so very sore and my feet are sore to touch as well. Sorry everyone,but i am feeling a tad sorry for myself today. I carry on all the time battling along never having a painfree day and think everything is normal and wham bam thank you mam here i am in agony and didn't realise what it was.xxxxx
