I am in bloody agony this morning. Despite the fact i slept well i kept getting up to the loo in pain. Now my right knee, left shoulder, neck and both hands hurt like hell this morning. I have already had a little howl this morning. It is the sort of day i wish i was dead(no i don't plan to kill myself) I am not suicidal, but i can surely understand people taking their own lives. It has been raining here during the night and we are expecting more rain today.xxxx

In complete agony.....
Oh Sylvi, i'm feeling it for you. Hot tea, hot bed, good book, box of tissues and a massive bar of your favourite chocolate. Howl, swear and scream as much and as loud as you want, drive the bugger out. Very very gentle hugs. Babs x
What i am going to try and do is go out on my scooter to town and see if that will help. Not only will i get fresh air i might get to talk with people which should hopefully cheer me and stop me thinking of the pain all day long. I might go to bed this afternoon and rest though.xxxx
Sounds as though you have a good plan. When I feel like you describe I try to remember days when things are going better. Light and company usually help me too. Hugs, c
Have you been to your GP yet, Sylvi
If not make that appointment and explain the problem there
As you wait for your appointment try taking Paracetamol or an NSID that you can purchase at a chemist who will advise. They can also be purchased at Aldi or LIDL.
Another thing you could try is a rub containing an NSID, You rub this into an affected joint
BOB
I have cream from the drs to rub on my joints,i have drugs for the pain also from the hospital. I have just got to sit it out methinks.Thank you Bob.xxx
I always find out that even in extreme pain, being distracted helps a bit. Whatever the distraction - it could be something on telly, seeing people, reading whatever. XXX
Sorry you're having a particularly bad day Sylvi. I've no great ideas for you, just hopes that it will pass soon. x
Sylvi remember what we agreed about nights when you sleep well sometimes being worse for bring bad days. I find moving about on a carpet very gently (tai chi style) helps me and watching a good movie or listening to a radio play or discussion or something on I player like on of those Scandinavian/ Nordic drama series. In fact I get box sets for days like this! X
Sorry you are feeling so bad. Go eat that chocolate bar Babs 1953 suggested ...and maybe a glass of wine? Hope your day gets better.... You have a lovely garden.
Morning Sylvi (now your evening)! Sorry to hear about the pain. It is overwhelming and I hope you can find something that helps you soon. My pain moves too. People ask me where the RA is as it is not visible and I say it moves and they look at me funny.
Anyway, hang in there and hope you have a better night. Cheers Doreen
Hope you are feeling some what better. My daughter is back in hospital with a very bad throat infection been in once, they thought she was on the road to recovery but relapsed. this has put her chemo back and the transplant. It is sceduled for October now. So we wait and see but they did say they could do it even if she is poorly. Finger crossed that she recovers. .
How are you now i feel drained . finished for today. XXX
Chris
Darling i am sorry your daughter is not getting better. I hope she gets her transplant sooner rather than later. I am still in pain, but i don't think i am in as much pain as i was in yesterday. Thank you for caring when you have so much on your plate with your daughter and your health.xxx
Thanks for your concern and reply. You always have time for others likewise myself. You never know when you want help . Hope you are feeling some relief today.
Sending you hugs . Chris
I am feeling a lot brighter thank you Chris, i am a bit tired now as i have been doing a bit of gardening. I am also making lavender bags as Xmas gifts and my colouring in pictures i am putting in frames as Xmas gifts as well. That will keep me busy as well. Let me know when your daughter hears any news. Talking of news I am going into hospital on the 25th October for an op to help me lose weight.xxxx
Glad you are ( were) feeling brighter, dont go over doing things now will you. Tracey is her name and she is very poorly at the moment . Her tonsillitis is very sore and her temp keeps going right up. The highest being 40 deg , that was the other night. They have told her if they get quincyed (blistered) then she will go on the waiting list to have them out pronto. I am going later today to see her again. I dont like seeing her like this so im not looking forward to it. Plus i will be taking her daughter with me.
She is the one that was and is when she is not in hospital the first to help me out.
Sending you hugs and take care.
Chris
(((Sylvi))) I know it's so hard when you feel like that, at the end of your tether but we are here for you. My mum always said that tough times don't last but the tough people do. It reminds me that we are strong, we have each other and the hard moments do pass.
When I feel like that, I do something nice for myself; a lovely treat to remind myself that I'm worth it. You're worth it. x
I have always believed that god only gives us what he knows we can cope with, mind you there have been times even i have doubted that. I am still alive so i must be strong mustn't i.I did pick up a lovely hat in the charity shop.xxxx
Just sending my best to you. Hope you feel better soon.
Thinking of you,
Gentle hugs ,
Jane xx
