Morning everyone,well thats another holiday over. We had a lovely time and i took some lovely photos while i was down there. I am going to rest as much as i can now as i over did while we were away and the drive home took an awful lot out of me. xxxx

I love Cornwall and spent all my childhood holidays at Carbis bay and St Ives and in later years went to Boscastle which really is a special place .

Morning I hope you are rested and feeling a bit better today. We are about 40 mins from Padstow more on the other side but we will visit it. I am looking forward to it but going through a tough patch at the moment so hoping it will have settled by then so I can get around. It's something nice to look forward too. Xxx

Falmouth is worth a visit,there is the maritime museum and there are some very beautiful gardens there as well. Lands end,lizard point,steam mine and sennon cove are all worth a visit darling.xxxx

Ah, Cornwall. I was born and bred in Devon and all childhood holidays were spent across the border; Newauay, Carbis Bay, St Ives. I still visit, but it's a lot more crowded now. Glad you enjoyed yourself ; rest well. Jo

Sylvi, don't worry about it, I did say that it might be too far for you. Nice photo, Padstow wouldn't have looked like that as someone thought. These days Padstow is a nightmare except in winter. Even in winter it's still quite busy, a few years ago most of the shops closed in winter, but now they are open. It's the silly season, as those of us that live here call it! Or another phrase is the bucket and spade brigade are here! Actually, it's a bit early for the bucket and spade brigade they tend to come in the summer school hols. Spring and Autumn are my favourite times of year here.
