Hi There, I waited only a week for my decision to come through I got Low rate care but high mobility just what I was expecting if I had never cancelled the first appointment as I was in hospital, The whole thing from the start to finish took 4 weeks they must be trying to speed it up because of the switch from DLA to PIP and they have half a million extra cases to do, All the previous claimants' who received it for life are to be recalled for a one to one with their consultants.matt
PIP.: Hi There, I waited only a week for my decision to... - NRAS
PIP.
That was quick mattcass. I'm pleased it was a positive outcome. It's seeming to be that however long it takes from application to assessment to receiving the brown envelope more & more seem to be positive outcomes which can only be good.
that's great news hope they have stopped putting people through the distress it can cause having to wait up to 18months or more ,I wish you well
Really pleased for you. Hope you are beginning to feel a bit better, the good news must have helped! M x
Great news Matt, with all your problems I don't know who would get help if you didn't! Wish Fran a happy Mother's Day from me xx
Wow very quick my claim took 8 months in which time my condition improved. I got the result came in a week and I didn't qualify for anything. Feeling let down as I was in a state when I needed it. But I'm pleased to hear that you got some help.
I have a home assessment on this Wednesday morning and have worked myself into a right mess worrying what the outcome is going to be. I have RA and psoriatic arthritis and pronation of my left foot. My husband is my full time carer day to day care.
Great news mattcass,
good to hear when people get awarded PIP
