Well I'm here again going in for knee arthroscopy again on wesd this will be my 5th on this left knee wish he would just do the replacement and get it over with I'm 57 for gods sake

You are lucky they are interested in you still, I had an arthroscopy on each knee about twelve years ago (when I was using BUPA) Now I am lucky to see a doctor, who then suggests NSAIDs for the pain. I am 58 and am beaten easily by my 82 year old Father in law when it comes to walking Then I live in Wales so don't expect much, especially as it's NE Wales!!!

My Sis had a half Knee replaced when she was 57 and has suffered ever since, so I am going to carry on limping, crawling, and cycling, which is fine for them.

I was offered another arthroscopy but he was reluctant to do this as it would not make enough difference therefore I am going to have a replacement in March and I am 9 years younger than you but age did not appear to be a factor. Hope you at least get some improvement and hopefully he will find something that will change his mind. Farm
