I went to Birmingham yesterday for a military Tattoo at the NIA and we went to the German market as well. It was a long day. It was a lovely day,but more tiring than i would like. Also at the start of the Tattoo hubby was telling me what was going to happen when a stupid wouldn't moaned at us for talking. One of the stewards came over to us and asked me did i have hearing problems and i said yes i do. I was also siting in the disabled bay as well. She went and told the woman where to go in polite terms. She asked us if we would like to move and we said no. The woman who complained didn't move either. I have been put off going again for several reasons. The woman's comments were one as it seems every time i go someone has a go at me. Also i am come away so exhausted. Then to add to that i didn't sleep very well. I feel exhausted today. i have to say i enjoyed the show and have got some lovely photos to look back on. The steward was lovely she kept checking on me to see if i was okay and was there anything she could do for me. I have to say the main reason we go apart from the lovely display,my daughter took the British Legion standard and was in the show as well. So i was one proud mommy.
We also went to the German market and god was that hard work in a scooter. We didn't buy buy much as it wasn't cheap and to be honest what i saw there wasn't much there as far as i could see.
Sylvi. Hugs to all.xxx

I do hope that woman's thoughtlessness didn't spoil it too much for you Silvi. Her being in the disabled bay too....you expect better, more understanding don't you? At least the steward was aware & I hope she gave her a right buzz in her ear. If she was so bothered she'd have moved so obviously just liked complaining.
You must have been so proud of your daughter & guess it's another rest-up day for you today. Me too, feeling the worse side of grot.
She was sitting below the disabled bay. The show was fantastic, but i don't think unless my health improves that i will go again. I have been very ill again this morning. My tinnitus went off and the room went round and i was very sick and had delhi belly again. We was supposed to go out for a Christmas lunch and we didn't go because i was so ill. I don't know if that was a result of yesterday or not. I feel very weak now to say the least.xxxx
I'm pleased it didn't spoil it for you, nobody has the right to do that & you'll have all this pics to remember the day. Is that a regular thing or an ear infection? Whichever, it's miserable isn't it? I find if don't cover up my ears when it's cold or windy it sets off my ears & makes me disorientated & sick, had terrible problems as a child through continual ear infections. One of the best pressies my h gave me years ago were ear muffs, so comforting!
My h is going to a Christmas dinner tonight & really don't want him to go... not that I'll say anything. He knows I'm not well after spending most of Sunday in bed holding on so I'm brave facing it at the mo.
I have had tinnitus for nearly 20 yrs after i was given a drug for my ovaries and it gave me ringing in the ears and it has been a nightmare ever since. This morning it went off and i feel very weak and fragile, now i just have to wait for it to settle down again. I don't think i will go next year as it was load and i don't know if that was what set it off. I will never know. I just pray i will be fine by Christmas. If it isn't ra/fibro it is something else this year. I hope it is better next year for all of us.xxx
Oddly, my aunt was completely deaf, couldn't hear a thing but we knew when she had tinnitus because she used to speak louder & we had to tell her to lower her voice.
With a bit of luck all will have settled & you'll be able to enjoy your Christmas with your family. x
