Morning everyone well yesterday i turned 63yrs and a lovely day i had, different, but lovely. Instead of going out for a meal in the evening we went out at lunchtime and had a lovely meal i had steak and boy was it lovely. I didn't know about it either. My friends came as well and had some lovely presents. I had my family there as well and there was eight of us round the table and we were well looked after. By the time we got home i was exhausted especially after a bad night the night before where i only had two hours sleep. The weather was kind to us as well and i enjoyed myself. We had a quiet night in as i had had enough as my body was exhausted and i can't cope with much more now. I am now in constant pain with my back and neck along with my hands. I have managed to see the rheumy on the 17th of next month to see what can be done to help me with this ongoing pain.
I hope this Sunday finds you all as well as you can be.xxxx

Happy Birthday Sylvi ! 63 years young and suffering this pain! Not good 😞 Glad you had a lovely time with family and friends that must have been special :). The back pain must be awful. How on earth do you sleep! Hope it's a productive consultation on the 17th. Sending love and hugs to you.
Hi Silvi. I was only thinking about you the other day. I have been with Health Unlocked for a few years but have months (probably when I’m feeling really low) that I just don’t bother. It really should be the other way around. Hearing how others are coping with much more than I am makes me feel really guilty. Anyway, I was around when you had your bariatric sleeve op. Is it something that stays put or do (or did) you have it removed? I know you did lose a hell of a lot of weight. How do you feel now?
What colour is your hair these days? I’m bottle blonde because my kind of grey is Brillo Pad in colour & texture. I love these pastel colours but it’s not something I could do myself & I absolutely hate going to the hairdresser’s.
Nic it is permemant like my hair is. The hair is much the same, just the colours get moved around more. At the moment the predominant colours are pink and yellow due to the summer. I have lost five stone in weight in the three years since i had it done and i am still not eating bread.
My health has taken a right nosedive this year. I have severe degeneration of the spine from top to bottom due to OA and basically i have been told there is not much they can do for me and i have to put up with it. I had my left foot toes broken and straightened in June and only last week have i had the pins taken out.xxxxx
Wow! 5 stone is amazing! You sound as though your back is the same as mine. I had one op at L4/5 & they put a spacer in, which has been great because I was bent double. I’ve been told the same as you that there’s nothing more they can do but after the results of Nerve Conduction Studies they said they needed a new MRI of my spine which I had this morning. I’m sure they must know what they’re doing......... or do they?
