Well i got up yesterday feeling brighter than i have in weeks. SO much so i managed to the bathroom with hubby finished the bath for me.
Then it was off to the hospital for the weight clinic. Well since i last went i had lost a kg though i had stayed the same from weighing in at the surgery last week. We had a good chat about my diet and the anaemia. I am to start eating nuts, not dry roasted or salted nuts, just plain nuts. Well that should be interesting. It was a interesting meeting and we talked a lot and it was lovely for someone to listen to me. She asked me to go and get another blood test so she can see what i am lacking. Well that was an experience to say the least. We went to the path lab and got a ticket and the wait was an hour so we went into the restaurent to get a meal as it was lunchtime. We had salads with ham and eggs and very nice it was too. Went back to the path lab and it was another hour wait so all told it was and hour and a half before i went in. The waiting room is covered with a glass dome and it was very hot indeed and i was starting to feel hot and unwel. Anyway got bloods done and came home to rest.
Overall for me it was a good day,i managed to get things done, which was a good thing as i have been unable to do anything for weeks due to the anaemia. I felt bright enough yesterday and to be honest i feel quite bright at the moment despite the pain i have in my hands and back. Today i have hand therapy down the hospital and hopefully that will go well. I hope the day is good to you all.xxxx

It sounds like the hospital appt went well yesterday, and you felt someone was listening to you- that in itself means a lot.
Well done on keeping the weight under control .
Good luck with the hand therapy later today.
I too have apps at the doctors and then the nurse for INR tests , blood pressure, and blood tests- oh well it's a trip out of the house if nothing else.
Glad you had some time out of the house and got things done. Hope the anemia improves for you, it can make you feel so tired and breathless. Good Luck Sylvi
Yes that is true. I like knowing, it is the unknown that causes the worry. I hope you can pick up soon. I had anemia when I first got RA and it was awful. I couldn't even have an iron infusion as I found out I was allergic to it! All the best
