I applied in April and sent forms back at the beginning of May and apart from an acknowledgement have not got any further. It would appear there is still a large backlog of both new claims and appeals. No More Heels has had a big problems even getting her PIP2 forms and she started the process a similar time to me. Farm

9 months it took me. And I'm sure it was only that quick !! Because I phoned every day complaining and I got back on to pip where you first phone to get forms and they put a complaint in for me. Good luck and don't let them wear you down.

thanks for that reply I will take your advice on give them a ring .people should not be made to feel stressed about applying for something that is there to help the situation we are in when yoy have rd .anyone can change places with me if they want.

tis a delaying tactic recommended by IDS and Cameron for the undeserving. They hope you will either give up or expire. Thousands have died so far.

yes I wondered that so many would give up at the first hurdle ,I took the advice of cliffsills and now I have been told I will get a phone call before 5 pm Tuesday with a decision , don't know if that is good or bad news

I wrote to my MP as I was so utterly fed up with the whole process, I outlined all my grievances. I applied 14th October and got my (unsatisfactory) award on the 16th June. I'm now stuck in the process of 'mandatory reconsideration' but have a complaints handler who I now deal directly with.

I could do with a complaints handler ,what are they going to do for you? I hope you can get it sorted ,it is so bad the way people are left feeling let down I have never asked for help in my life and feel ashamed now, as it makes you feel almost like you don't matter because you are ill and of no use.to me its a had up not a hand out.
