Broken ankle.

Good evening one and all.i intended to write a cheerful piece after being away so long. Sadly that is not the case. This afternoon i fell down my garden steps and i have broken my ankle. I am in hospital tonight after having a cast on it. Then Thursday all being well they will operate on it. So thats my news and i hope you are all better than i am. Xxxxx

Well sylvi ,sorry to hear about your garden accident. And I do know how you feel I fell from a ladder and smashed both ankles, long time ago ,I was in hospital 3 months they didn't know what they wanted to do .They said it was so bad that they was going to operate but for some reason thought better of it .and to this very day16 years latter still have swelling .Horrid time but bone were shattered so hope you don't have to have that sort of treatment. Was in a wheel chair when I left hospital and was on my own in a 23 rd floor tower block madness ...nightmare.. and still had to go back to hospital for ultrasonic treatment for weeks to brake down fragments of bone in the ankles ...I. Know the pain ...Bless you

Good morning lovely people. Well i have survived. my first night in hospital. I am very uncomfortable In my ankle,but i think some of the swelling is going down at least i hope it is. Xx

What are we to do with you? My hubby broke his ankle 3 years ago and was in plaster having been operated on. All ok now except it aches in damp and cold weather. Hope you get on ok with the operation on Thursday - will be thinking of you. Take more water with it! Lots of love and hugs, LL xx
