Restless legs syndrome
We having been sharing posts over the last weeks on this subject most people on here have understanding GPs and they are receiving treatment for it. Mine has not been confirmed by my doctor as yet but I know what your feeling and it can be frustrating painful and dam right annoying. See you doctor there is medication and help out there for this. If you take a look at some of my posts you will see others answers about it .... wish you luck with it xxxxxxxxxxx
Hi
Know the feeling well recently so frustrating. Legs in bed, legs out of bed, walk about, sit in lounge, rest them ellivate them. Still no break.
I've just been told I'm anemic and have wondered whether this is related, has anybody else found this?
Started my iron tablets so time will tell.

I get this too , don't know what the answer is but I am just sending my sympathy , it is horrible , especially the burning and tingling , get it in my hands and other places too ,
My husband suffers very badly with restless leg syndrome. His is to the extent that his body almost convulses now. When his started a number of years ago it was the clasic crawling skin that built up until the leg physically twiched to almost release the pressure and then gradually built up agian and so on......... - he has premipixol (Mirapixin) medication. I understand this medication is also used for Parkinson suffers, as I believe it works on trying to encourage the brain to release more dopamin (obviously this is a lay persons understanding so a doctors advice / explanation should be sought). There is also a forum dedicated to restless leg syndrome which may be useful. I wish you every good luck with seeking help from your doctor (they do appear to be having more of an understanding these days about the condition).
From my personal experience it is a shortage of magnesium and other minerals. Get it checked out but a good multivit and mineral tablets stopped my husbands.
Thanks all for your feedback.Found the RLS community very useful.I find it truly challenging to talk to other people about it since the feeling is all over the place and hard to describe.
Been having very strange sensation of something crawling on my head and have even stopped people randomly to help check and remove it. Been now almost 1 month and still have the feeling, people tell me its all in my head since there's nothing they find.Am not sure if i should tell my GP about it or it will just go away. Sometimes i fear people might think am starting to lose it complaining all the time about symptoms that are so all over the place and strange.
Anyone with similar crawling sensations?
This forum is really helpful ,it always remind me that am not alone and its not all in my head.
Thanks to everyone for your contributions
Yes I to get the crawling feeling, I tend to get that sensation on my legs and my stomach. I don't think its in your head at all I think its a very real problem and there are a lot of sufferers. You should tell your GP as it probably wont just go away I have had it for five years now started when I was pregnant with my son I just thought that is was the pregnancy but no I still have it and its worse now. And like you I do feel worried to tell my doctor because he is not the most helpful of people. xxwish you well with it hope you get sorted.
