Chest infection................

Well the news isn't good,i have a chest infection and seven days of antibiotics. So that means no Cimzia on Monday and no MTX on Wednesday. I am wondering if i am ever going to get the second dose of Cimzia. Am i ever going to be better i keep asking myself. I hope none of you are suffering too much with the heat. XXXXXX

Oh dear you are a problem child at the moment. Sure you will be sorted soon.Have to say feel a bit like you had ra for a year and still no success with a drug that works well for me. Patience on my part am sure will get there xxxx

Miss the cimzia started working more or less straight away and my blood work was down to five which my rheumy nurse was so pleased with,but here is the rub i have only been able to have that first dose and i was due the second on Monday coming. Patience is a thing i keep being told,that and go on sit down,which is not helping at the moment.

Any way ladies once the antibiotics kick in i am sure i will soon start to feel better. Thank you all for your kind thoughts,it cheers me to know that you all care so much.xxxxxxx

Gosh darn it Sylvie, I drop off the edge of the continent for a few days and I find you having a chest infection!! I finally got on the site again, thank heavens!! Went through downloading 2 other browsers and still got the message my browser was outdated!

Must have been doing something wrong. Anyways, take care and get better soon so you can get back to Cimzia!! Loe ya, Loret xxx

Welcome back lovely Loretta. I had a bout of sickness earlier on this morning. My tinnitus went crazy and i had vertigo and was sick,so after that i went back to bed and slept for nearly three hours. It never seems to end with me i'm afraid. Hope your ok.xxx

Glad to see you're back Loretta. I've just got a new laptop with Internet explorer 10, and the website still says my browser too old!!!!!

The one good thing about all this is that I downloaded Firefox, and wow it's so much better.

Hi Carolyn, I knewe it should not be my browser, so I just kept trying and suddenly I saw I was communicating!! But then I wrote a lengthy blog last night and could not find how to post it, then it disappeared!! Gave up and went to bed. Will try again later today. Hope the temps have been bearable there!! Hope you feel better soon Sylvi. The antibiotics should make a difference - I had a lung infection last December and had to skip MTX for a week too. Things will get better. Take care.

Sylvi, me too. It just makes you feel like you'll never get on top of things, doesn't it? I'm okay-ish because GP says I can take my mtx alongside antibiotics, you must be feeling even more fed up. I don't want to miss this amazing summer & the heat suits me but today just took to my bed & felt decidedly grumpy. Hang on to the thought that you should be feeling a lot better soon & will be back on Cimzia & mtx.

aww Sylvie, it does feel like one step forward and two back at times, I had just got back on to metx again when the antibiotics were introduced. Hope the chest clears up well and you get back to the drugs that work.
