I've decided that tomorrow (Sunday) will be the start of my next attempt to stop smoking. I'm going to put a patch on before i go to bed tonight and hopefully i'll not feel the need for one first thing in the morning. That's my worst time. My only problem is that when i stop i start to get mouth ulcers and could end up with 5 or 6 at the one time. Has anyone else ever experienced this before? If so do you have any remedies that would help? Wish me luck.... I'll let you know how i get on.

I can't offer any advice about the mouth ulcers I'm afraid as it's not something I have experienced. Having said that, I have looked it up and it seems around 40% of people suffer with them when quitting. I found a link for you below.
Well I haven't had a smoke today and the mouth ulcers are starting! I'll just have to get on with it and hope I don't give in. This is always what I fall down on because when I take a few smokes they start to die down! I'll have to persevere through it this time but it's no joke when you have 4-5 ulcers all at once!!
Go girl you can do it, I smoked for 50yrs and I've been of them for 13 weeks. Try not let your mouth ulcers put you off they can be easily treated .....Good Luck
