Failed at the first attempt

I had a really tough week and unfortunately started smoking again to distract me from the issue's I was dealing with. But and there is a but, I went nearly 7 weeks and I'm extremely proud of that.

Anyway my new quit is starting again very soon and be sure I'll let you all know when that begins.I felt a sense of achievement when I'd quit and I want that back, the financial side of it was amazing and I felt so much better after only a few days I also want that feeling back.I know it can be done and I know I want to be a non smoker. This site was a real support and I've had some lovely messages.Keep going quitters and I'll be back on my quit journey very soon.Goodluck everyday 😄

You achieved so much and you will learn a lot from that attempt to take forward to the next, try not to dwell just learn, that’s what it’s all about. We find out more about ourselves and how we have to adjust to manage life when we used to turn to smoking to deal with it, over coming those and ignoring the overwhelming urge to smoke is such a fight, but it’s worth it so get back on it and start over, you can do it, good luck.

As wifey9879 said Quitters, You hopefully have learned how to attack it next time. & weeks is still a lot of fags you did not give your body. Just try again the sooner the better because your body has been partly cleansed from nicotine so next attempt might not be as hard. Give a lot of thought to what the smokes actually did to relieve your stress and maybe you will find they didn't it is actually all in the head. Have another go

I understand where you are coming from some people don't know how hard it is to quit, and how easy life can change that. Just try again, always try again no matter how many times you fail, KEEP TRYING.

For every smoker it will always be at least one failed attempt. I failed so many times. Now is the longest I ever been off cigarettes and feels so good. I have a app that counts my days without cigarettes, the money I saved, the days I gained 😂and is fun.

Think positive and don't let the habit to overtake you. Don't think how hard is life or how many bills we have to pay or how many loans we have 😂. Stressing and smoking wont resolve out problems.

Good luck 👍
