Just a quick note to all users of this site.Today for myself was particularly difficult and with the help of some excellent support messages from the quit community I'm still smokefree and feeling a lot more positive.Breaking the habit of a lifetime is no mean feat and sometimes life doesn't make it any easier. It's so so easy to reach for the fags and get back on the merry-go-round but then it's back to being fed up of becoming a smoker once again.I wish I'd never started this dirty and expensive habit but I'm truly determined to spend the rest of my life as a non smoker.Everyday is a victory and on the whole I have good days but tonight especially it's been a struggle.Thankyou to you all and use this site to stay on track.😄

It’s a great sight, and thank you for being here,

It is a nasty habit and yes the cravings are crazy and harsh and yes I’ll also admit I’ve fell off he wagon but got right back in every day is a struggle , just take one day and one step

Hey Quitters, how are you getting on ?

in reply to Wifey9879

Had a couple of slips but now back on track, feel really bad but the last week has been a nightmare and my resolve just disappeared. It was my first quit attempt so I probably was a bit over confident about how strong my addiction was.i will get there and I'll be posting regularly when I start quit no2.. Thanks for asking after me and don't give up giving up.

The addiction is extremely powerful, it’s not the end of the world you did great, just treat it as a learning experience for next time, it takes a lot of people so many attempts to finally beat it you just need to build yourself back up and start the quit process again when your ready, will look forward to hearing off you on your journey, I hope you manage to jump back onto it soon, keep smiling, don’t beat yourself up and make yourself feel bad just dust yourself off and move on, you will be stronger next time, take care 😊
