Been a week for me, I'm hanging on in there, really pleased with myself for getting this far.
One week: Been a week for me, I'm hanging on... - No Smoking Day
One week
Hi Quitters, Good work on your first week without the fags. 30 years is a long time so just keep taking a day at a time. I remember when I first quit and saw people with lots of days clocked up and just thought how good it would be to be at that stage. Then I got to that stage. It was hard and even now as I approach 18 months of quitting the other day I said to my wife, "I just feel like a smoke " But I didn't so it is still in me!!! Like you I smoked for 46 years. Hang in there and all the best
Thanks and like I've mentioned the morning's are really tough for me. I know I can start smoking any anytime but the actual act of smoking now disgusts me which I know is very weird considering how long I did it for.stale smokes the worst!!!. staying strong, today's another day, thanks for the support.
Oh and well done on your 18 month's of smoke free, you must be loaded!!!!!.
In all seriousness do you notice the difference financially? With 18 month's under your belt you must have saved a fortune. For me that would be about £5000 not spent on cigs.
