Well done Stacey, vaping is fine as an NRT method. I vape to quit. Will be 5 weeks quit on Monday. I've only ever managed 3 days in all the years of attempts. Be proud - you've got this.

Thank you! 7 days tonight! I have had an odd urge but I am not going to smoke ever again 😁

I've lost count the amount of times I've had cravings or urges 😂 But I won't give in as I don't want to. It really strange to explain it, I know there will be more to come - but we are winning the battle!

I don't want to burst your bubble but smoking and vaping are like heroin and methadone. You're still getting the hit from the drug just in a different way, but you have cut down on some of the chemicals and less harm to the lungs but not completely, but it's a start !!.

If you can and it is possible try and cut nicotine out of your life completely, it is a friend who lies to you. Cold turkey is hard but the most rewarding and you're less likely to smoke again.

But it's better than smoking right? In fact Public Health in the UK say its 95% safer than smoking. My bubble is not burst! I shall cut down on the nicotine concentration gradually and then not bother vaping anymore when I'm down to zero. Unless I want to vape for fun! Who knows :-)

Hi Stacey ! Congratulations quitting is the best desition ever !!

For what I’ve learned from people using the vape to quit , it’s very recomendable to reduce the nicotine gradually within 3 weeks and not to extende the time vaping nicotine for to long (mr nicotine can trick your brain ) lthen you have to get to zero nicotine as you are planing to do .

Most important set the date and time you are starting nicotine free .

Once your body has detoxed from addicting nicotine things will get much much easier .Keep it up on this journey ! 👍
