Three months. Its a personal record. I jave shifted away from actively protecting my non-smoking status to simply being a non-smoker. It doesnt mean I wont experience temptation again nor can I stop being vigilant, but for the most part days go by now without thinking about cigarettes and I have a hard time remembering that they were once, so recently even, an essential part of my life. Onward and upward.

wonderful news! Hoping now that Im off the patch I can start feeling some of that good stuff. And it's true, it's hard to imagine spending so much time smoking. Congrats on three months!

Congratulations!:) I loved the way you worded these feelings.

Eternal vigilance! Such is the price of freedom. And to be psychologically free in a world where most of us are slaves to one thing or another...that is revolutionary!
