Well I am here, so I expect thats a step in the right direction. I am 45 l, been a smoker pretty much all my life, heavy, light, off them on them no real patter. I gave up once for 8 years, didn't touch one and then one day, boom back smoking. It's a battle which never stops. So i take my hat off to anyone who has stopped and stayed stopped.
So back here again, bot in this forum, just this journey. Last time, I stopped was just a choice, wanted to have a healthier life style, this time however it is a health condition. I have been told I have COPD, although still not had the Spirometry test but all the symptoms fit and it's been on the wall for a while, so it's time to change.
Day 1
Cheers

Nope I am going it alone. I think I need to attempt to give the crave up from the off, instead of replacing it with something else. I managed to d9nit last time but last time, I set a date and started giving them up. This time:l, I just said stop and that was that.
I will give it a go but if I need something I will consider it.
Well done! I have done it cold turkey a few times, it’s not easy but you can do it. The mistake I’ve made is slipping up and having just one a few weeks or months down the line . That’s the bit to remember not to do!!! Good luck to you
