Wow the last week has been a test and half... both children poorly was in the house all last weekend and now I’ve had a fever since Wednesday and dark green mucus coming up. I’m feeling soooo terribly fed up keep thinking if I was smoking would I be ill?! (Obviously I would but these little triggers keep coming) usually it would have turned in to a chest infection by now.. but it hasn’t all stayed in upper head if that makes sense with a cough that seems to be just yuck staying in my throat. My lungs must be repairing... just finding all my normal activities that stop me thinking about cigarettes don’t work cause I don’t have the energy. 😢 I do keep trying to give myself healthy things rather than rubbish though. Like fruit natural yoghurt and veg instead of my usual chocolate crisps tea and biscuits. Just really feeling like Bum at the moment and this is the first illness I’m having to get through without my beloved cigarette... hence the big triggers. Hope everyone else is doing well.

And lots of water and other liquids, Leo. For both the craves and your illness.

Feel better soon.

Ugh being sick sucks. It affects me mentally. I’m the worlds worst sick person. I lay on the couch or bed as though I need Last Rites. lol. Take good care of yourself.

Hi Leo, you definitely would be I’ll if you were still smoking, and it would be in your chest. Your kids would be iller too, my GP explained to me that my smoking would be affecting the child’s asthma. I didn’t believe it, don’t smoke around her, in the house or car, but he said the particles will be on me. I remember feeling really cross to be guilt tripped like that. But I’ve been stopped 4 months and she doesn’t seem to have asthma anymore.

And I would still smoke even with a chest infection, and it would make my husband so mad, I never got any sympathy. Find a video on YouTube of someone smoking and clearly I’ll and coughing. It is horrible.

Very soon you will all be feeling much better, why don’t you make some smoothies, or a colourful fruit salad. Vitamin C will do you all good, and then watch a really silly film?

that’s amazing about your daughters asma I can’t beleive it can make such a difference. I suppose it was the demon nicotine that keeps you from seeing it and just as you would under normal circumstances I would be smoking while having a chest infection. Your doing well at 4 months as well. My OH smokes and it’s horrid the smell the amount of money and the constant working around smoking in every day life. Makes me happy to be rid of it.

Hey Leo2018 , over 50 days smoke free now! Hope you have recovered from your cold?

Raw honey (jar honey will work grand too) is great for clearing out the lungs, a tablespoon of it every morning and evening. I still take mine daily since I stopped smoking. Continue to eat the fresh fruit and vegetables and drink loads and loads of water, even add some sliced lemon to it for your vitamin C.

Thank you!!! Can’t believe I’ve made it this far. A sickness bug hit the house and hubby was rushed to hospital so has been a testing time. Also dropped down patch size 15mg now so been a testing weekend. And at times thought I was going to crack but haven’t x
