48 hours and counting, had a very rough early morning and a terrible sleep (or lack of) last night. Feeling somewhat better that I didn't cave in to the urge to light up this morning! I'm taking Zyban to help with the cravings....

Cheers to all of us for our determination to QUIT!!

Awesome good for you for deciding to quit Each day gets a little easier

Those are great news

I quit smoking 1 year ago and I’m so happy I don’t miss cigarrets .

As a no smoker Im more relaxed and I deal with everyday situations in a more calmed way .

I smell great and I’m saving lots of money .

You will notice a huge difference and everyday gets much easier .

Keep it up🦋

Thank you! Made it to day 3...I will have to be tough to get through this long week-end but I know I can do it!

Welcome finallyfinished - congratulations on now day 3, well done!

Sleep disruption/insomnia is one of the most common nicotine withdrawals and many of us here experienced it, myself included. I think mine lasted about 8 weeks - if you try deep breathing exercises when you wake up - inhale for 5 seconds and exhale for 5 seconds, repeat until feeling relaxed, again, avoid coffee especially before you go to bed. Herbal supplements from your local health food shop should be able to help too. Other than these tips, you just have to ride it out, remember, it is only short term, when over this, you will sleep for hours, well, I did anyway, could have slept for 12 hours straight if got the chance :O

Thank you for the words of encouragement! Lack of sleep last night as well, but surprising not feeling tired today!
