Hit 28 degrees yesterday with us mushen - sorry to say, I couldn't cope with it at all, wasn't fit to move :O 8-)

20 degrees today with a nice breeze which is lovely and suits me perfectly!

We too cooled down today. The thing I most noticed about the sun and sitting in the garden, was the amount husband smokes!

Done the same myself, smoked like a train when sitting out in the sun - was out of boredom really, not really a sun bather, prefer to potter around in it now as an ex smoker 8-)

Lovely captured picture Hercu, I definitely wouldn't survive in 45 degrees, yesterday was over and beyond my limit at 28 degrees!

PS Will delete the duplicate posts....

I can not take this cold weather....!! Yes 45 is not very comfortable but I would rather be there than in the lower 20's...!!

We are just not able for hot weather in Ireland in all aspects from our houses, clothes, fair skin etc... - below is what half the population is like after this hot sun we have been having

Oh my god Roisin! I literally spat out my ice cold beer with laughing - so funny but so true!! My hubby is currently like that!! Showed it to him and he burst out laughing, us Irish definitely can't take the sun and just go mad when we get it!

Very funny Roisin, have to put my hands up and admit I am like that from a bbq I was at on Sunday and so is most of my work colleagues!! Why do we not put sun cream here but put it on when in the sun abroad, its the same sun and heat!! 8-)

Love the picture Roisin, I couldn't stop laughing!

You must be having our summer. It's 14 C. here, overcast and raining most days all this week.

It has changed now taurean7 - alot cooler and had a bit of rain last night and this morning, at least can get a good nights sleep, haven't had one in over a week with the humidity at night and a timber frame house doesn't help either, easy to heat in the winter but bake in it in the summer - never happy!!

I'm with Roisin on the 45 degrees - would have to hibernate underground if Ireland ever got that heat :D :O

Lower 20s is great for me. If it was 45 degrees I would imagine my bad deeds caught up with me and I were in hell. Both because of the heat and the use of the Celsius system.

Crazy Cocao...Our average is 40 Deg C and when cooler than that it is actually very nice up to 25 is bearable...But below that not so nice ....and yes, above 40 is fairly uncomfortable...We do get our 47-48 deg C days where a 24 BTU aircon is fighting a losing battle ...!!!
