Hi Star_Girl101

I felt the same at 19 days! It's hideous, but from what I can tell it's the rubbish leaving your system. I'm only at 29 days myself so I can't be all full of it, I will say though it's definitely got easier and as time rolls on, I feel more in control.

I used an e cig to help me take the final step but have been preparing for a while.. this morning I dropped it and I haven't used it since! I had reduced and reduced the nicotine anyway but was worried I'd smoke or go crazy!

A big thing for me is upping my vitamin and water intake... I honestly think it has helped enormously...

You're doing so so well and to go cold turkey is amazing. I am sure that this is just a bad day, there are definitely good and bad, and I hope you are able to sleep off the feelings.. you're doing brilliantly. Stick with it, I do think it passes.. all the best :)

Thank you for the encouragement and congrats on 29 days! Vitamin and water increase is definitely something I need to add to my lifestyle changes. Thanks!

Thank you! It sure is a war, isn't it!

Actually, I really like that way of looking at it...winning a battle at a time aka taking it day by day! thanks!

Hey Star_Girl101 - it is a bumpy road this quitting journey and you are going to have bad days - some very bad days, but I promise, for everyone overcome, the stronger you will be, keep that sword up and attack - you can do this and are doing so well - Hidden is right, you will posting in a few weeks giving this advice, wishing you strength :)

It definitely gets better over time, but it's not a straight path. It's more like two steps forward, one step back. But over time you will notice the change. Everyone's quit is different, but yes water, vitamins, exercise, and something to concentrate on that you enjoy generally helps.
