Quit smoking for real like 2o days. My blood pressures suddenly surge and really scare the shit out of me. Like blurred vision ,falling and imbalance . is it really withdrawal symptoms or something else????

Hello. That does not sound good at all. Book an appointment with your doctor as soon as you can.

If it gets worse today, call 111 and ask them. They will help. Hope you are OK. 🙂

They were the symptoms I had for at least 6 weeks , my eyes felt wobbly and I seemed not to focus to well , my mind was very light , I thought I was on some sort of trip ? But I'm well fine now it was my re-wiring period it did worry me , but you'll find in time that your head just needed oxygen in it instead of SMOKE :) 👍

Yep my blood pressure and sometimes I had palpitations, how long have you been smoking 4? Just remember the habit you had was flowing through your bloodstream for a long period and now it's sucking pure oxygen which will be a shock to any of us , if your unsure what's happening within your body and your worried go and see your GP 👍

Just seen the beginning of my last message, yes I did have high blood pressure , but this did calm down after a period.

Welcome Imran1234ty and congratulations on 20 days quit - these symptoms appear to more severe for withdrawal especially the falling and imbalance, you need to get checked out as soon as you can just for reassurance and that it is not something - keep hydrated with water and fruit juice drinks while waiting to see your doctor.

Let us know how you get on (also we here would not be able to give any professional medical advice on this community as it is only to offer support, help and advice and share experiences on quitting smoking). Although Telboy61 responded he had similar symptoms, everyone is different and it is always best to checked out by a professional.
