So my last post was the fear of giving up and I took the leap and stopped. So I have done 3.5 days and so far it's been ok. On champix so obviously helping with cravings but so far so good. Think today will be the test as ok not smoking at home but work seems to be a massive trigger, so lots of will power!!

Great to read your Day 1 post (well over 3 days!) - huge congratulations and well done. You appear to have a great positive attitude which will stand to you, once you get your first week or so over you at work, you will be fine, re-plan what to do when you would of had a smoke, cut up fruit, some online reading, chatting with non-smokers - you will also encounter the dreaded stink of smokers when they come back in and think oh I smelled like that - I found it was a great feeling that I wasn't that person anymore and felt sorry on them going out to feed their addiction in all types of weather.

Wishing you continued strength, keep us updated :)

I was the same.. worried about how I'd cope at work.. I actually found it was easier than being at home! I had to change my routine of course, but that happened naturally just by not going outside for a smoke on breaks, we only get 10 mins anyway so not too much time to kill and easy to keep occupied. I think having something to do helps a great deal, so if you work full time and have an hours lunch do something.. Anything.. but don't go outside where you'd normally go and smoke.

Hope it goes well for you.. Well done on deciding and the Champix is great! I swear by it lol..
