Hello all, I just wondered if anyone has had their food start to taste weird? Had my usual latte today and it tasted so weird and just had peanut M&M's and they don't taste as nice as they used to. I am very congested and not sure if that is why.
So bizarre!
Was the complete opposite for me debsmcphee - everything and I mean everything tastes so much better since I quit 17 months ago, can taste everything now and all the tastes of spices, sweet, sour etc that were masked with smoking, alot do tend to experience the same - sense of smell is so much better now too, mostly pleasant but there is the unpleasant ones too!! 
Would say it is because you are congested as was the same and could taste nothing when I had my flu a few weeks ago.,,,
Hi Roisin, thanks. I think you are right. I am bunged up and probably getting the cold. Things taste ok again this morning so fingers crossed it will improve soon. Day 12 and counting! This forum is a great help, thanks for all your messages x
Its funny that you say that...last night i went to my favorite restaurant and ordered my fave meal. I couldnt eat it, it tasted terrible ! My kids say that i have to try foods all over again to see if i like them lol. Strange.
