Can't believe after 40 years of smoking 20 cigarettes a day I am on my day 29 smoke free. I still have good days and bad days but the advice I have received from this forum has helped so much and it's so true, the craving do go away. The thing I am finding at the moment is I often say to myself "I will have a cigerette before I do that" and I have to remind myself I don't smoke, smoking becomes such a big part of life you have to almost retrain yourself. Anyway looking forward to a smoke free Christmas and starting a new year smoke free. Merry Christmas to you all.

Great post Christopher123 and congratulations on almost reaching your first huge milestone of 1 month - plan that treat
What you are experiencing is perfectly normal and for every habit craving you overcome, it will be so much easier the next time, as Mushen pointed out, have that guard up during the silly nostalgic season Enjoy it smoke free!!
