Morning. Well done on four weeks, pretty amazing stuff! Do not give in now whatever you do!

As for blood pressure problem, you need to book an appointment with the doctor. I do know that smoking increases blood pressure but that is the extent of my knowledge.

Get it checked out, you need to put your mind at rest if nothing else.

I've had it checked and was sky high, and yes I'm really pleased with myself

First of all, well done for getting to almost a month!

Secondly, like mushen and Lizzy say, I would see your GP about the high blood pressure. I have read a few articles where people report raised blood pressure after stopping smoking but it's best to get it checked out, whatever the cause.

Hope everything is ok, sure it will be. One thing is for sure, you're doing your blood pressure a favour in the long run by quitting!

Maybe there is something in it! Hope it all goes well with the tests.

Hopefully the blood test will reveal the answer for you.

Well done on reaching your 4th week. I don't have any knowledge either of the raised blood pressure but glad you have seen your doctor to get checked.

Good luck with your quit

Huge welcome Izzy to our community and congratulations on heading into 4 weeks smoke free. That is great! I too quit cold turkey and just had my 1 year milestone last week.

Hope the blood pressure gets sorted. Keep us posted on your progress :)

PS Can you let me know your quit date for your milestone badges
