So I'm on day 9 and doing okay. My quit seems different this time. I've been relatively calm and haven't had to battle the rage I felt in previous quits. Cautiously I'm feeling rather positive! My partner has stopped too which is really helpful and we are saving loads of money.
Big shout out to all the other NY quitters!!!

Quitting is about you regaining control over your feelings and emotions without using a cancer stick as a crutch.
You've done this before, you know what it takes to win.
Being calm and serene during the quit shows your maturity and determination.

Welcome Gally and huge congratulations on reaching Day 9, good for you that you are positive and feeling good in your quit which is vital to stay smoke free. Wishing you continued strength, focus and determination, looking forward to reading your progress.
Yay we can make it to the year together! To be fair I had cut out day smoking over a period of months and I think this has made things easier. I just need to not be complacent... not to get too comfortable! Hope that rollercoaster calms down soon, those first few weeks are a killer, its amazing you can become so completely absorbed in your head over a little stick of smoke!
