Not quite double figures but day 9 for me. I m almost too scared to post on here for fear of tempting fate but it s been remarkably easy to stop smoking (on this occasion) and I honestly believe it s down to a) planning the quit (I started making changes ie started some exercise/running over 6 months ago all with the aim of feeling a bit better about myself and having something to focus on when I eventually quit the fags) and the biggest help has undoubtedly been b) Allen Carr s book. Last time i quit for 6 wks I started reading his book after I d quit and throughout those 6 wks told myself that I d smoke again at some point - so completely the wrong mindset. This time I am determined "nope" and I m not even bothered that my hubby is still smoking - other than I think he s wasting his ££ and health. I think he ll start reading mr Carr soon though as he can t believe what a breeze it s been for me so far. If anyone reading this is thinking of stopping smoking or struggling just read the book. It s a life changer!! And c) this forum is a great support.
Congratulations S.S soon rack the days up
