Day 11 today yeeeehaaaa!
This morning I've notice d that everythning I do feels more purposeful, and I feel more efficient doing things.
I had a quick think about this, and I reckon it's because I'm not constantly thinking 'after I've done this I'll have a smoke'. It's like little tasks like doing my hair or even feeding the cat are an end in themselves, achievements, without being a thing I have to get through before I can smoke. SDes this make sense?
=ps excuse the typos, my delete key is buggered, adn I'm in too much of a rush to bash it hard enough to make it work! Will propbably edit later after work!
Happy Mopnday one and all xx
Are you sure it's because of your delete key, or have you been sneaking an early morning tipple or two?
Your title made me smile because I'm sure many people actually started smoking to make themselves look grown up and here you are turning that notion on its head
It's a very good sign that you are beginning to eliminate the thoughts and needs of "reward cigarettes". We all had them, you know, when I've finished this I'll have a cigarette or I've got to do this, I'll just have a cigarette before I start.
Psychologically, you are beginning to strip away the myth that is smoking and seeing it for what it really is, a self fulfilling habit. Take away the first hit of nicotine and you start to eliminate the craves that inevitably followed because of it.
Have a great day at work, it's bitterly cold where I am, but I no longer have to freeze my extremities off to get my half hourly fix - and neither do you!
Staying in the warm - isn't it great Captain?
I hadn't thought about the irony of my title...I'm just subconsciously really clever
