No-smoking side of things is going well but done nothing today apart from lie in bed, watch TV, and eat junk. Feeling a bit yuk now and lonely without cigarettes, I know that's just the nicotine talking though. Back at work tomorrow so think I will have a better day with something to distract me and people around.

Well done Matthew, sometimes it's best to stay in bed and eat junk if it helps with craves, it won't do any harm I shouldn't think, junk food is feel good food! Hope you are enjoying being back at work now. :)

The 'missing something' feeling is horrid isn't it Matt? I think it was the thing I struggled with the most. It really does pass though, however impossible it seems currently. In the meantime there's nothing wrong with doing exactly as Nicky says and staying in bed with some junk food. You can deal with any weight gain when your quit is properly established and I am sure a few days of self-indulgence won't hurt you.
