A full 6 weeks done today, 42 days and it's whizzed round, I have had a few bad days recently but overall it's been ok, big hugs to all my quit buddies who quit around the same time, I notice all of us around the same time are the ones that are struggling so maybe it's just timing, permanent good days are around the corner surely? :) xxx

Thanks :) I am feeling once again very edgy I think evenings are becoming a problem for me...I am definitely NOT going to buy any fags or smoke but it's weird that this last week I have really struggled for some reason... Yet another early night then it looks like... :/ x

I guess it probably just as your body gets used to lower and lower nicotine levels. Should ease again next week.

Donna, you're doing fantasically well and my wholehearted congratulations are coming your way. :D

I shall keep everything crossed that the current evening difficult patch doesn't last much longer. Is there anything you can do to fill the time and perhaps get you out of the house? An exercise class a couple of times per week for example? Something that you can't combine with smoking even if you wanted to, and that will make you feel virtuous to boot.

Alternatively, nothing wrong at all with a luxorious bath (candles, scented oil, the works) and a glass of wine in bed with a book. :D

Well done Donna ... I too have struggled this week ... Am chewing regular gum which does seem to help but best news is we are both at the six week mark onward and upward xx:)
