Pressing on!

For today,i realise that to be honesr( I know I've moaned) but I feel ok. Having slight wobbles but under control.

My oh stopped many years ago, was in hospital and the guy in the next bed died, he never smoked again:confused:

But to day Ido feel ok, and am not going to smoke, another day under my belt.

Hope all is well with my virtual buddies:)

Now that's good hun, things are looking up for you and that's fab!!

It's going to be so worth it :D

  • I do hope so Kat, my oh does not understand, that for me this is taking every thing I have, my resolve to day is fish pie, my fave, and thinking not going to smoke, hope this gets easier, there I am again moaning, ( sorry)

  • Moan away Tracey - means I'm not the only one on here doing it :D

    Have a lovely day

  • Wise and lovely Kat - that's you :)

  • What Kat said!!

It is difficult at times quitting smoking, we've trained ourselves to "need" fags at certain times, when we feel good, bad, bored, stressed etc, etc and it can be really tough to undo all that.

There's nothing wrong with having a good moan, or a rant or anything inbetween. This is one of the rare places where everyone understands, never-smokers will think it's as easy as not buying fags and being grumpy for a bit, smokers won't want to know, but here everyone has been through or is going through the same thing so it's a great help!!

Trying to phrase this so it doesn't sound evil  but in a way it helps knowing other people are struggling - it's not good that you are obviously, but to know we're not the only ones feeling rubbish, or thinking we won't make it, or whatever does help.

    not just the woohoo-we're-doing-so-well-wave-your-knickers-in-the-air-moments

*Blushes and sticks them in her pocket*

  • Removing that takes time, and repeated attempts (if either of you liked Star Trek: The Next Generation you can think of it as removing Borg implants) to reboot your head - this is a massive undertaking!

    Nice one Kat! :)

Resistance is definitely not futile. None of us will stand for being assimilated any longer. :D
