Don't beat yourself up Linda, thats what this forum is for, people come on and use it to rant instead of lighting up, and as long as you are on here writing thoughts down then you are not lighting up, simple as that Day 3 does suck hard though if I remember rightly so good on you for getting through it.
Lindy, Day 3 is the pits in my opinion. In my old life, it was invariably the day when I would cave in.
By the time you read this, you'll have put Day 3 behind you and will be on Day 4 and more than half way through Week 1. That's a wonderful achievement- well done you!!
Linda, you mustnt apologies for being grumpy, we have all and will all have good days and bad days. We all realise that we will need help and that is what this forum is all about. A little haven where we can vent of our frustrations, a place where we feel safe mainly because we all know exactly what others are going through. Its hell and we all know we have friends to turn too. Friends who will help us get through very hard & tough times.
That is the main thing we have to get in to the front of our minds is to not turn to smoking but turn to this forum and shout and scream, kick and punch. Were all in the same boat.
After all we've all been through the same rough water, but the horizon is calm.
Thanks everyone and I'm sorry for dropping my guard yesterday. I promised myself that I would only post positive comments with this quit - shame that didn't last long:o!!
Things have been much better today and I feel I'm up and running now. Learning to just ride the cravings out and feeling a little less of the monster I'd turned into since packing in smoking.
