I am just signing on to let you guys know that I am on day 35 of Cold Turkey and have been punching the Necdemon in the nose every time he wants to pop his head in and try to get me back on to the death sticks.
The cravings are all but gone for me. I may get a odd crave every few days of the week, but they come and they go just as quickly. I am starting to wonder why I even smoked at all, and why I was a regular smoker for over 9 years? It seems all a bit silly to me.
I can walk outside and look around and the people with the cigarettes in their mouths don't even bother me any more. Every time I see them I feel a little bit guilty because it was so easy for me to stop completely Cold Turkeu but know it can be a battle of the will power gods to other quitters. I try not to judge the smokers considering it was only 35 days ago that I was puffing away.
Any ways, I am still on this journey and the path way is getting less and less rough, almost smooth as concrete now!
I can tell you as a complete CT'er that the cravings DO GET BETTER!! Even though at first they are a pain in the rear they gradually get less and less. As I said, I only get an odd crave a couple times a WEEK now. I am fairly postive once I get higher into the months that the cravings will get down to maybe a couple of times a MONTH.. That will be awesome.
Good luck, everybody. You have the strength do to this. How do I know? Because I DID it and still do every day. It's not impossible. The only person who can make it impossible is you. Just say NOPE (Not One Puff Ever)
Good luck, everybody. You're all in my thoughts.

What a brilliant post Mike, definitely inspiring for quitters just starting out, you sound very positive and on top of your quit, your post was a pleasure to read, keep up the good work x
It's hard NOT to be positive about this. 35 days free of nicotine is excellent, it is like a weight lifted from my chest (probably the lack of TAR. LOL)
If my threads help at least ONE person then I consider that an achievement!
