That's what we call the mental crave. Even though you may have not have had the "need" to smoke the thought always lingers about cigarettes. That too will pass in time.
You seem to be on a great mind set and are trucking forward into day three. The first three days are some of the roughest times in a quitters journey and it seems you are handling it like a BOSS  You have this under control.
No in the early days thoughts dont leave, there sort've lingering in your mind. But you've already established they are just thoughts and not wants, craves or needs. Thats amazing!!! Go girlfriend!!!
Your doing fab huni and have got through so much in the past 2 and half days already. Bring on more smokefree, fab smelling, happy days!!!
Well done Lyds You've got off to a great start there!!
I know exactly what you mean about the thought not leaving. Smoking is never very far from my mind still, but I am noticing longer and longer gaps between thoughts now.
Having said that, I do still get the (very) occasional crave...but certainly nowhere near the level of intensity they were in the early days!
