so here i am this morning. Made it to the next ball of thread
Gosh my patch is itchy. But the half hour of itchiness is sooo worth it.
I finished my last day of my italian course last night so I have a new found monday freedom from now on which i might fill with the gym.
My plan is still to go to smokefree places as it makes it easier for me.
Hope you are all well
xx

YAY well done Sammi, this is much more like it!!
My patches are a bit itchy too but it's a bit better if you wave them around a bit before you stick them on
Better than either smoking or being a snappish grump though
Well done on learning Italian It's a great idea to keep yourself busy like that!! xx

Hey Sammi, well done
You seem dead chuffed, and so you should be! The gym is a great place to see the benefits of not smoking. You should find that you're breathing is better and you have more energy. It's also one of those smokefree places, so no temptations!
I'd love to learn spanish, but haven't ever got around to it

i seem to be developing abit of a cough this morning. I wonder if its the debris coming up that I have read about

I think it's perfectly normal to get coughs and colds when you stop smoking. I actually ended up with pneumonia after 2 weeks of not smoking and felt very depressed about it. But, now the pneumonia has passed I feel much better.
Hang in there - the cough is just to clear all the gunk out of your lungs from the years of smoking
