I hated everyone for longer than that! You know what's involved here by the sound of things, good luck with it and keep us informed how you're doing!

I'm on day 4 of cold turkey too and I've been not too bad, I've had a couple of aches and pains but I don't think they are associated with the whole non smoking.

I don't have a craving but I would like a cig for the sake of it if that makes sense?

As you say....onwards and upwards! :)

I think I am the other way round babs I dont want a cig, but the cravings are still pretty intense, anyway I am off to cook a big curry now to take my mind off it, my missis is loving this she has never known me do as much around the house hahaha :)

I'm getting cravings this evening but think its cause I'm home and my parents have been smoking. It's too easy to get a cig off of them, I need to be strong and stay away!! Lol.

Wish my partner would help a bit more round the house too....I cook and clean and look after everyone in this house (5 of us!) haha.

My parents want me to stop smoking more than anything and I want to show them that I can do it! They are trying to stop too but I can see its harder for them to do after over 40 years!

You will show him, I'm sure of it! Keep it up! :)

Well thats good they are on your side,, Maybe you will give them the push they need to give it a try, you never know ,Ive been a smoker for over 40 years myself and this is not easy, but not as bad as I thought it would be , having the support of this forum is a big bonus. Chin up! you can do this :)

Woooaahhhh!

Don't do too much mate

Don't want them to think we can multi-task :D

The cravings are bloody annoying

I was speaking to a friend today who said it took him around 9 months or a year to completely settle down but he feels great now

He's 6 years down the line and never gives it a second thought. :)

Stay strong

Greg

The curry was lovely, the missis loved it but I hear what you are saying lol....I have even stayed up untill 1.39 a.m. to see in my 5th day.....please let tommorow be easier....it seems so unfair going through this agony for what appears so little reward.....but my resolve is still good...no more death sticks will be hitting my lips or lungs....bring on Day Five....

Hope Day 5 is going better for you....I know I keep saying it but I'm so shocked with how easy day 3 and 4 were for me. So far into day 5 myself and I'm fine!! :o
