Sorry I havnt been on much past few days, been away all week with work. Today marks 6 weeks smoke free Still get the odd crave every now and then but they are getting easier and easier to manage.
Went out on Friday night for a work dinner and suprised myself how easy I managed to get through the night without caving in, mainly because it was coming down cats and dogs outside....watching those poor peeps having to huddle around under a tiny canopy to have a smoke made me chuckle.
I definately think the hardest part is the social scene the smoking area provides, its true that you do meet people and have banter only to be had in the smoke area, meby if I can bank a few more weeks I will be ready to go out with friends while they poison themselfs without it being an issue.
Anyway I will use this thread for the coming week, hope everybody is doing well. Delighted to see lots of new members and the old guard still going strong.

Well done Jay, 6 weeks is a great achievement. You know I used to think the same about the social aspect of smoking etc but its all rubbish, after a while you'll definitely not want to go and stand in the middle of a group of people smoking, not because you're tempted but because it is just rank!!!

What Kazzy said!!
When i had my e-cig I forced myself to go out to the smoking area with my smoker friends, and honestly standing with them while they smoked - icky ick!!
It made me wonder what planet I was on to inhale that stuff and actually enjoy doing it
Ooh and the "social side" - something I bought into in a big way TBH, is all rubbish - what's social about going outside, leaving your friends and coming back in breathing faggy breath all over them?
