Hi all,
I've not been on here for a few weeks but yesterday way 2 months since quitting smoking. I can`t say it's been 'easy' and I do still get cravings most days but I can`t tell you how much better I feel. I`m running most days again which is great and plan to get my fitness back as much as possible this year and compete again next year.
I wouldn`t say I'm out of danger just yet and after quitting for 7 years before this and starting to smoke again I think I shall just consider myself a 'smoker that is chosing not to smoke.' I know that 'just one' is not an option and learning distraction techniques to deal with trigger moments has to be priority no.1.
Thanks for being there.... xx
