The light at the end of the tunnel

I met up today with a smoking friend who didnt know I had quit, after ordering coffees, out came her cigs and offered me one. Although I was not tempted I was amazed to realise that the very thought of taking that cig, lighting it up and putting it in my mouth actually made me feel physically sick. Is this the light at the end of the tunnel for me, I really hope so. Although I haven't had many craves recently I felt always on guard, today just felt different somehow.

What a great experience jeannie, i don't think it matters if it is the light at the end of the tunnel or not, it's great anyway.

Hope you felt proud that you didn't need to smoke, didn't want to smoke and were just plain comfortable with the whole thing. A bit sort of "nah, don't want to do that thanks, not for me". very cool. Keep the guard up, but today is a good omen and must have been lovely. Big smiles! :)

It's a real achievement and gives you a sense of pride when you realise that you genuinly don't want to have a cigarette. I hope you're very happy with yourself and enjoying the feeling of being a non-smoker!! xx
