I know you've had some really crappy times with it but it's brilliant you stuck with it and £90 for being healthier and not smelling of fags? How good is that!!

Thanks Gemma Very happy with myself!
Looking forward to feeling more of the health benefits and moving out of the "tough" stage.
And you should be It's a great milestone to get to!!
It's great you're trying anything and everything to get off them
Did you buy yourself something nice yesterday? x
I bought some new t shirts and a couple of bits for work. Then went and got lost in Waterstone's (left the shop three books heavier!). And I went into HMV to buy my niece a disney dvd for her birthday and discovered they were buy one get one free. I'm a bit of a disney addict (think I'm up to 32 films), so ended up coming out with three for my own collection. Oops!
Spent quite a bit but reminded myself on the way out that I'd just bought all these things with money that I would simply have burnt a month ago. x

Ooh brilliant
Sounds like a good trip and basically free too!!
Have saved about £830 so far, or i would if I hadn't spent most of it!!
And isn't it great to have clothes that won't stink of fags, and no worries about burning them too. x
Sounds like you have got this pretty much in the bag now Sarah Lou! Well done! The first month, as the others have said, is the hardest but that is now done and dusted. Keep it going!
Great news that you are feeling better it is very encouraging as I am just behind you and like you are having some bad days. It's great really, so much money saved, not smelling, skin feels softer, we are so much better in every way without those nasty white sticks. Have you used your ecig yet.
Karri, I would love to give you some of my attitude! It's been so difficult to hold onto over the last couple of weeks, and I hope people read some of my previous posts and can see that I've got through it
Jeannie, I used my e-cig on Friday night, but felt so guilty yesterday that I have decided to try and leave it alone. The thing is, when I seriously ask myself the question "Do I want a cigarette?", the answer is no. That has been my answer all along, but I guess I only started asking myself the question in the last few days. It won't taste nice, I will smell, and I'll have to accept that I'm giving up the fight.
I'm afraid that I'm not willing to do that, no matter how tough it gets.
I started reading Allen Carr's book this morning and am about two thirds of the way through. I am hoping that this will be my only "aid" if I'm struggling from now on.
Well done to you both on your quits, keep up the hard work and please continue to post on here. I've found that being brutally honest and blogging my feelings on the forum has helped immensely so far
