I've just had my first proper craving since I stopped.
Very aware of the need to brain train right now and hoping to connect with others.. what do you keep telling yourselves to stop yourself from lighting up?

Hello fellow day 4er
I downloaded an app on my phone called Cessation Nation and it has mini games which you can play when you get a craving, Ive done it twice today and its worked so far. Also Ive made a reward chart from printing a calendar page from freeprintablebehaviorcharts.com and Ive put stickers on the days ive completed
mints are also helpful
Great ideas!
Oohhh I like those ideas Magicbunny, I'll just have to copy you!
Coming to this forum helps me and if its really bad there's a video in YouTube which I have saves to my favourites as it gets me everytime!
I'm also going to start putting the money I would have spent on cigs everyday into a clear jar, seeing is believing as they say !
I should do the money jar too but i never seem to pay for anything in cash. The app on my phone shows me how much Im saving but im not sure how accurate it is. Apparently so far we have saved £24.17 and not smoked 74.38 cigarettes
thats for a 20 a day person
Yeah I was the same, always paying on my card so I thought maybe I'll just take out say £7 everyday and then I'll actually see how much I'm spending in a week/month etc!
Must get myself some nice stickers
I've been using an app too for encouragement !!

A warm welcome to the Forum. IMO the first few days are by far the worst, so you've achieved my love, well done
Please try not to look too far ahead, baby steps and you'll do fine.
