Day 12 and I look like a spotty teenager!? To put this into perspective I am in my mid 30s so don't normally get many spots but suddenly look like a pizza!?
Can't decide if its all the giant buttons/ Kitkat chunkys or if its those darn cigs!?
I also can't decide if I am pleased I have given up or not!? Love smelling better love the fact I don't have a cough and love I am not reliant on anything but definitely feel like something is missing and definitely fighting with the thought that I did actually enjoy smoking!! I know I didn't really and know I wouldn't if I had a puff now but no amount of chocolate crisps or wine gives me quite the same feeling! Gah it's rubbish!! Wish I had never started all those years ago!
A very spotty TVH! x

Maybe ur quit is making u a bit stressed...or it could be the chocolate! But hey your skin will soon be looking brighter and fresher and more youthful!!! Fact!!! So brace yourself for lovely skin!!!!! Xxx
I had a spotty phase during my quit - it passed too.
All that stuff about not being sure if your pleased about quitting or not etc is addict thinking! You are much too close to the time when you used to smoke to be able to think clearly about it. There will be times when you get the ridiculous thought that somehow having a smoke will change things, or make you feel good or whatever (nonesense!). However, it will happen less often as time goes on. Just take it one day at a time.

Hi TVH
I've been through exactly that same feeling and am more or less over it now - still get a sort of "empty" feeling now and then but not so strong and not for so long!!
If you've been smoking since your teens (guessing 'cos most of us have) and you're mid 30's now that's a huge chunk of your life smoking and to suddenly stop it is going to be a big shock. It was for me but life definitely *is* better without them.
You get the thought that you enjoyed smoking - like Biggrin says that's addict thinking - but try thinking how many of the cigarettes you smoked every day you actually *enjoyed* as opposed to smoking them 'cos you "had" to. I did that, and there were hardly any - I wasn't smoking any more 'cos it made me feel good it was 'cos it made me feel normal again.
There is a very good link in someone's signature on here that goes into a lot of detail about that, can't remember who's it was now but it explains all your thoughts a heck of a lot better than I did!!
I too have succumbed to a bout of acne not seen since I was 15, I had a shave yesterday for work I just let it grow during the week and there they were half a dozen angry little red spots, I am putting mine down to the choccy, I hadnt eaten any for 3 years untill I stopped 13 days ago hahaha...how crazy is that?? I am trying very hard to to swap one addiction for another I am now down to 2/3 kit kat chunkys a day I promise. I may even have to go cold turkey on choccy next week and eat a load of fruit who knows??
