Well last night at bedtime was 1 calendar month since I put out my last stinky fag (in the cold and damp - nice way to remember my smoking life) so I guess I'm into Month 2 now!!
Am a bit bruised and battered on the way and have had my moments but it's so good to have got another milestone under my belt
So that's *at least* 625 fags not smoked (am saying at least 'cos I've realised that there were so many times I smoked "more than usual" and there's been Christmas inbetween) and at least £256 saved
Here's to another smoke free month and a big thank you to everyone on here who helped me through my low points - it really would have been touch and go without you!! ❤❤

Thanks Karen!
Yes it's fab to watch the time on my quit smoking app go up and up and now in my second month I actually *feel* like a non-smoker!
Know it's still early, and I still get craves *but* I really don't want to smoke any more - and the smell of smoke makes me feel a bit sick!
This quit is definitely very different to my last one - then I did it 'cos I was ill, then nagged into it but now it's 'cos I want to do it for myself.
Had a few drinks with my friends last night at one of their houses, and did get a crave but it was weaker than before and I didn't give in!!
It was really foul weather yesterday, cold and raining off and on most of the afternoon so I curled up inside with the TV and did some internet shopping
Spending the money I've saved on ciggies too.
Anyway it hit me part way through the afternoon that quitting has made me free!! Just over a month ago I'd have been grumbling and going outside for a smoke in the wet and getting pitying looks for doing it - was the only smoker in the house - but now I can spend time doing what I want without worrying about how I'm going to get my next fag in. Lol, now I'm the one feeling sorry for smokers!!
