Aw shucks, thanks for posting my good news, third of a year! Month 5, I am just so chuffed

Thank you all for your support, honestly, so appreciated.

Was watching Paul McKenna tonight and he was advocating the making of time compartments when trying to quit smoking/losing weight etc, keep the stages manageable.

It's been said many, many time on here, baby steps, just 10 minutes, 1 hour, 1 day, etc and increase longevity slowly. Never, ever look too far ahead. This is what I have religiously done and it's certainly worked for me.

However, as I've also said before, this quit has always, always felt 'different', and this is most definitely the 'Key', the key that unlocks the mind!

Thanks so much everyone:). I really am so happy being a non smoking Fi. Also, very proud of each and every one of you.

I'm away for a Theatre Break with my girlfriends this weekend. (Dirty Dancing). Our Hotel has a gym/pool and I'm going to try to make full use of facilities to see if I can shift a little weight!! Cocktail, then swim, cocktail, then swim - does that sound about right

So good to see so many new quitters doing so well and supporting each other, it's lovely to read your stories and see the friendships forming.

Fab time with the girls in Eedinburgh, loved Dirty Dancing And the cocktails

Also loved Belfast at New Year, The Merchant on Hogmany was a good choice, food amazing as was the food at a little Mexican called Boojam, best meal ever, and so cheap and cheerful! Loved the shops too:). So pleased to see your quit is still going well, well done my love, this is 'the one' for you, for sure.
