Just seen this post and thanks - only words of wisdom are:

The purplest way to get to 4 months quit is to stop sticking those blighty cancer sticks in your mouth and lighting them!!!

Now that said for all the newbies who may or may not read this, it does indeed get easier as the time goes by (contrary to other posts you may read) and the benefits are great........

Now back to my day.......and if you are looking for something to do maybe I could interest you in a poll currently taking place in the general section?

And as a final thought may all your plums be purple........:eek:

Well done John, its a great milestone. Hitting 4 months was a real turning point for me. I started to feel like a non smoker instead of an ex smoker

I agree after 4 months I also am starting to feel like non smoker!!

It was hard to start with but at last I am not thinking about smoking for long periods.
